I’m Writing a Book… and It’s Changing the Way I See Everything

I’m writing a book about the art of intentionally creating meaningful human experiences.

What I thought would be a writing project has become something much more.

It’s become a way of living.

Rather than sitting behind a desk writing about meaningful experiences, I’ve chosen to live them.

I’m stepping into communities I don’t yet understand.

Learning from people whose paths are very different from my own.

Listening more than I speak.

Asking questions with curiosity instead of assumptions.

Not to become an expert in every field, but to better understand what allows people to feel seen, respected, safe, and fully alive.

I’ve become fascinated by a simple question:

What makes an experience unforgettable?

Everywhere I go, I carry a similar set of questions with me.

How do I enter this space in a way that honors the people, the culture, and the purpose that already exist here?

How does the invitation shape everything that follows?

What allows someone to truly arrive?

Whether I’m sitting beside someone at the end of life, participating in a workshop, sharing a meal around a kitchen table, exploring a community that’s often misunderstood, or witnessing someone master their craft, I’m discovering something remarkable.

The setting changes.

The language changes.

The rituals change.

But the principles often remain the same.

Meaningful experiences rarely happen by accident.

They are cultivated through intention, trust, communication, consent, preparation, presence, and thoughtful stewardship.

I don’t have all the answers.

That’s not why I’m writing this book.

I’m writing it because I believe every profession, every culture, every relationship, and every meaningful encounter holds a piece of the puzzle.

My hope is to gather those pieces, honor the wisdom of the people willing to share them, and discover what they can teach us about creating experiences worthy of someone’s story.

This is just the beginning, and I’d love for you to be part of the journey.

An Invitation

This book is being shaped through lived experience and conversations with people who care deeply about how others experience life.

If you’d like to be part of that journey, I’d love to hear from you.

Whether you intentionally create meaningful experiences, have a story that has stayed with you for years, or would like to receive a thoughtfully curated experience yourself, I invite you to send me an email answering these three questions:

1. Tell me about an experience you’ll never forget. What made it so meaningful?

2. When people leave your presence, what do you hope they remember?

3. What is your intention in reaching out?

  • To share your perspective or expertise.
  • To be interviewed for the book.
  • To experience a thoughtfully curated experience.
  • To explore a collaboration.
  • Or simply to follow the journey.

I’m looking for thoughtful, curious people who believe that meaningful experiences don’t simply happen—they’re intentionally cultivated.

Perhaps your story is one of the pieces we’re meant to discover together.
